Vandana Kamboj engages in a general civil litigation practice with an emphasis in Personal Injury, Construction Defect, Professional Malpractice, Landlord-Tenant and Real Estate matters.  Ms. Kamboj also handles transactional matters such as formation of business contracts, licensing contracts as well as copyrights and trademarks.

Background

Ms. Kamboj was raised in San Jose, California and currently resides in Sacramento, California.  She recieved her Bachelors in  Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a second Bachelors in Science in Administration of Justice from San Jose State University.  In May of 2005, Ms. Kamboj received her Juris Doctorate from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  She was admitted to the State Bar of California in December of 2005.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Kamboj was a Biological Engineer in the Ultra Pure Water Department of Advanced Micro Devices.  While in law school, Ms. Kamboj was a law clerk for the California Department of Justice-Attorney General’s Office within the Tort and Condemnation Department and the Health, Education and Welfare Department.  In addition to clerking with the Attorney General’s Office, she provided research assistance to the Civil Justice Association of California, a non-profit coalition dedicated to bringing balance to the Civil Justice System by working towards eliminating frivolous lawsuits.  Ms. Kamboj’s coursework in law school was focused towards the study of intellectual property law and trial advocacy. 

 

Ms. Kamboj began her career at the Law Offices of Daniel J. Sullivan where she represented plaintiffs in personal injury, civil rights, and employment law cases.  Thereafter, she represented an international window manufacturer in various construction defect lawsuits.  She later expanded her practice to defending insurance companies in various areas of law including, but not limited to, casualty (slip and fall, motor vehicle accidents, railroad accidents, premises liability, etc.), construction defect, professional malpractice, and environmental contamination lawsuits at the law firm of Erickson, Arbuthnot, Kilduff, Day & Lindstrom.

Ms. Kamboj is a member of the California State Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all California courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District.  She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Santa Clara County Bar Association, Sacramento Bar Association (Member of the Intellectual Property and Litigation Sections), Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association, and the South Asian Bar Association.

Deirdre A. Kelly engages in a general civil litigation practice, emphasizing in Business, Personal Injury, Real Estate, and Criminal Defense matters.

 

Background
Ms. Kelly received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Oregon in 1990.  In December of 2005, Ms. Kelly graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  She and was admitted to the State Bar of California in May 2006 and the State Bar of Oregon in October 2006. 

Before entering law school, Ms. Kelly had a successful career in business in the Silicon Valley high-tech sector working as a sales and marketing account executive at Sun Microsystems, Cobalt Network and 3Com Corporation.  While a law student at McGeorge, Ms. Kelly concentrated in the study of International Law and participated in the Salzburg, Austria study program co-taught by Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.  Ms. Kelly received the Witkin award for academic excellence in coursework and received honors for oral argument at the William C. VIS Commercial Moot Arbitration competition in Vienna, Austria.  Additionally, she completed internships with the Sacramento County Conflict Criminal Defense Panel.  
 

Ms. Kelly commenced her Civil Litigation practice in 2006 handling general business litigation matters.  In 2007, she joined with Gwire Law Offices as an associate attorney managing plaintiff’s complex legal malpractice actions involving construction and personal injury matters.
